Vinnie favale and frankie keane
Frankie and Vinnie used to proudly say that they shared half a brain until one day when Frankie pointed out that if you followed that logic, they were only functioning with half a brain when they were apart. Their writing and musicical partnership had humble beginings in 2008 when Vinnie was looking for an actress/singer to sing on some demos for an idea he had for a musical based on how we deal with grief. There was no script at this point and most of the songs were in a very rough demo form. Vinnie had been working on this idea since 2003 and hit somewhat of a creative wall. He didn't know he was in desperate need for a partner when he turned to Backstage online looking for a singer. Frankie stood out over the hundreds of head shot and resumes for four reasons; she had impressive credits, she had the most soulfoul voice that didn't quite match the head shot, she had an awesome My Space photo album and probably most importantly, living in New Jersey made her geograpgically desireable. Oh wait, there's one more reason...DESTINY. It wasn't long before their faitheful meeting turned into a full fledged writing and musical partnership. Within a four year span since their first meeting, they completed the book for "Hereafter Musical" [2010], co-produced the the soundtrack CD [2011], launched one of THE most succesful fund raising campaings in the history of Kickstarter [2011] and made their off-Broadway debut at Theater 80 in the East Village [2012]. They most recently completed a critically acclaimed second off-Broadway run at the Snapple Theater in the heart of the Broadway district and are making plans to bring the show back in 2016.
